You may know him from SDbloggers, San Diego’s premier blogging group. If not there, you may have watched his tech segments on NBC San Diego. Either way, if you are in the know in San Diego, you should know Matt Brown. We are excited to see what his talk on Comments Are King brings to WordCamp San Diego.
With that said, here’s another Speaker Spotlight:

I’ve been working with WordPress since 2007.
What are your thoughts on the WordPress community as a whole, including WordCamps?
I love the creativity, ambition, and drive of the WordPress community. It feels more like a tribe than anything else.
Who in the WordPress community inspires you? Who do you follow?
It’s tough pinpoint just one individual.
What is the most exciting feature/addition/improvement to WordPress that you have noticed in the last year?
I really like the menus feature (is that over a year old?) but that’s a made a big difference in many peopling thinking of WordPress as a CMS and not just a blog platform.
Where do you see WordPress 2 years from now?
WordPress will be the default standard on almost every website that’s serious about publishing content and staying on top of innovative web practices.
