Kim Blake

Kim is the owner and lead developer of Alpha Webworks. She enjoys building websites in WordPress and learning about the latest web trends and techniques. She attends the popular AWP Meetup group regularly, where there is always a topic of interest. Kim was an organizer for WCSD 2016 and is honored to be leading the team for 2017.

Away from the computer, you’ll find Kim planning a new route for her run club or attending a good play and then blogging about it on theatregeek.me

Scott Stewart

Scott Stewart is a WordPress developer who enjoys building websites from scratch using the Sage starter theme by Roots. He owns the small development studio Carlisle Stewart, which specializes in WordPress development. In his free time, he loves a good iced coffee and the San Diego sunshine.

Yaron Guez

Yaron Guez is a co-founder and Chief Software Architect at Crypteron, a developer-friendly, data-security platform for custom enterprise applications. He also runs Trestian, a premium software development  firm specializing in WordPress, PHP, .NET, AngularJS and ReactJS.

When he’s not coding, Yaron helps admin the Advanced WordPress group, plays keyboard in a musical improv comedy team and enjoys song writing, traveling, cooking and yoga. Yaron has a degree in Computer Science from Yale University and is happiest crafting elegant solutions to complicated problems.

AJ Zane

AJ Zane is an interactive web developer, narrative designer, & community strengthener as an admin of the Advanced WordPress group, cofounder of Front End Authority.

He works as a front end developer for Veyo Logistics, changing the way healthcare is provided for those who need it.

Mandie Shaner

Mandie Shaner is a “wearer of many hats” at ZenThree – a WordPress-centric website development and consulting shop based in San Diego, CA. Her team has been creatively solving problems and providing fully managed WordPress hosting for a decade, focusing on the needs of small and midsize businesses.

When she’s not WordPress-ing you can find her at our local Bitcoin Meetup.

Devin Walker

Devin Walker is the founder of WordImpress, creators the GiveWP – the #1 donation plugin for WordPress. This is Devin’s second year organizing WCSD and he leads the Camp’s website development and development track organization. If you see him at camp, say hi! 🙂

Joel Williams

Joel Williams is an England native, and now San Diego based Happiness Engineer at Automattic. He previously owned Blog Tech Guy for over seven years, one of the first WordPress.org customization services.

Chris Lema

Chris Lema is the Vice President of Products at Liquid Web.

He’s also a blogger, a public speaker, and product strategist.

For more than twenty years Chris has managed high performing engineers to build software products – particularly SaaS products in a variety of B2B vertical markets. He’s also spent the last ten years coaching startups on product development & marketing strategies.

He has been a WordCamp San Diego organizer for 2013, 2015, 2016 & 2017.
