Hey recruits! We are looking forward to seeing you this weekend at #wcsd and want to share some\u00a0helpful information to ensure you get the most out of your WordCamp weekend.<\/p>\n

In case you didn’t know, all WordCamps are volunteer-run conferences organized by those in your local community and are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all. Please reference the WordCamp\u00a0Code of Conduct<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for details.<\/p>\n

Check the attendee list<\/h3>\n

This is a great way to see who’s attending<\/a><\/strong> and make new friends.<\/p>\n

Read\u00a0Through\u00a0the Schedule<\/h3>\n

Decide which sessions to attend<\/a><\/strong> ahead of time so you can plan lots of conversation time in the \u201cnetworking track\u201d where you can learn one-on-one.<\/p>\n

Get Social on Twitter and Facebook<\/h3>\n

Share quotes and comments you overhear throughout the weekend with #wcsd<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Registration<\/h3>\n

Registration begins at 7:45am. Come early for meeting cool people just like you. Opening remarks will start at 8:45am of the corresponding rooms for each track.<\/p>\n

Help Bar<\/h3>\n

Have a specific question about using WordPress? Stop by the help bar which is staffed by volunteers from various backgrounds that will assist you with your WordPress site.<\/p>\n

WiFi<\/h3>\n

Due to how the buildings are structured at SDCC, the WiFi can be a little spotty, so please prepare accordingly in the event there is no connection or it’s slow.<\/p>\n

Saturday After Party<\/h3>\n

The After Party<\/a><\/strong> will be held at San Diego Museum of Man, in the heart of\u00a0Balboa Park. We\u2019re lucky to have the entire venue for our WordCamp attendees from 7 \u2013 11 PM. Be prepared to show proper ID<\/strong> if you would like an adult beverage and please, have your WCSD badge with you.<\/p>\n

Sunday Networking<\/h3>\n

Join us for some great networking over coffee at 10am on Sunday, right before our keynote speaker,\u00a0Dre Armeda<\/a> <\/strong>takes the stand.<\/p>\n

Parking<\/h3>\n

There’s plenty of parking<\/a><\/strong> nearby so make sure to check out where to park in advance.<\/p>\n
