  • Adam Cooper

    Adam Cooper has over 20 years of experience implementing technology solutions for internationally recognized companies.  He designed the first mobile application for Microsoft SharePoint.  He also architected the real-time video transcoder for MySpace, back when it was the world’s most popular Web site.  More recently he has focused on digital marketing, cybersecurity, and data privacy.  He just started Cybertunities, providing technology solutions for small businesses.  Adam is as comfortable formulating technology strategy as he is writing code or configuring network infrastructure.  When not at a computer, he is at the ice rink with his twin boys and young daughter, rooting for his hometown Philadelphia Flyers, or learning to play the electric guitar.

  • Angelina Millare

    Angelina Millare is a Content Publishing Champion who helps people profit from their passions and experience, by using low cost technology to publish content online. She is also the host of “Content 2 Profit”, a new podcast show where she shares jargon free tips and tools, to support and inspire listeners interested in expanding their reach as an online expert. She is the founder of Project Code, with the mission of increasing the number of people from underrepresented communities in computer programming, by providing access to user friendly support resources.

  • Bridget Willard

    Bridget Willard is a marketing consultant who brings her teaching and accounting background together to help small businesses. She began her marketing career in construction, then worked in franchise development, nonprofits, and tech. Bridget co-hosts WPblab with Jason Tucker — a live YouTube show on the WPwatercooler network. When she’s not writing about marketing or social media, she is spending time with her friends, changing her hair style, learning languages on Duolingo, or walking by the ocean.   • Chris Ford

    Chris Ford spent the first seven years of her career collaborating with talented project managers to deliver sites for clients including Wynn Hotels and Gateway Computers. The next 12 years she was a freelance designer: managing client expectations, running discovery meetings, keeping track of budgets and deliverables, while also squeezing in designing and building sites. Four years ago she pivoted to project management. For the last two and a half years she’s been a project manager at Reaktiv Studios. She’s also an Asana ambassador and is happy to talk your ear off about designing efficient processes. In her spare time she enjoys kerning type, playing and building guitars, and hanging out in Slack drinking bourbon while talking about reading the huge stack of unread books in her Goodreads backlog.

  • Chris Lema

    Chris Lema has been working with WordPress since 2005. Over the years he’s been a blogger, a speaker at WordCamps, a coach for WordPress product companies, and the founder of the conference for WordPress business owners, called CaboPress. Today he’s the VP of Products at Liquid Web, where he manages the world’s first managed platform for WooCommerce stores.

  • Gareth Kloeden

    Gareth is a web developer passionate about building modern, accessible sites and applications. He got his start in development making websites for college clubs and these days works with all kinds of web tech, with a special love for WordPress and React. When not staying up too late writing code Gareth can be found reading, cooking, playing guitar, and running around beautiful San Diego, where he lives with his partner and two cats.

  • Jarrett Gucci

    Jarrett Gucci also know in the WordPress support world as Quicksilver has the superhuman ability to troubleshoot WordPress issues at great speeds. He is a mutant that was born in darkest depths of open source with superhuman support powers. He is the product of a genetic experimentation with the goal of solving WordPress issues as fast as possible. Jarrett Gucci, Quicksilver is most commonly know as the owner and founder of WP Fix It where he and his superhero team have serviced over 232,000 WordPress issues since 2009.

  • Jennifer Bourn

    With 22 years experience as a graphic designer and 15 years experience as a web designer and creative agency owner, Jennifer Bourn works with small businesses and enterprise organizations alike, to build brands, create content, and grow profitable online platforms. Her renowned business systems and automations allow her business to thrive and keep moving forward while she travels with family, speaks at events, facilitates large-scale workshops, hosts intimate retreats, and co-organizes the Sacramento WordPress meetup and WordCamp Sacramento.

  • Joey Daoud

    Joey Daoud is an award-winning documentary filmmaker with past films appearing on Netflix, The New York Times, and National Geographic. He’s been a WordPress user for over 14 years and stumbled into the third WordCamp ever while filming a documentary on life hacking. He is also a YouTube creator across multiple channels with videos garnering millions of views. In his free time he likes to climb mountains, scuba dive, and try new coffees.

  • Joseph Dickson

    Joseph Dickson is a web developer in higher education at Pitzer College and an avid proponent of using WordPress’ core features to create flexible and manageable long term design solutions. I’ve spoken on topics such as creating child themes, upgrading old themes for the block editor and managing large websites with multisite.

  • Mari Pfeiffer

    Mari Pfeiffer is a copywriter and website designer whose clients often call her a unicorn because it’s unusual to work with someone who writes and designs. Mari works primarily with coaches and consultants – elite sports coaches, well-established life coaches and financial consultants – and helps them reach more of the people they most want to do business with, and convert those people into loyal customers. She has been designing websites for over ten years, and using WordPress for about eight years. When she’s not writing or designing, she’s hanging out with her cinematographer husband and their 10-year-old daughter, and wondering if the New York Mets will ever win another World Series while she’s alive.

  • Matt Kopala

    Matt is the founder of SiteDistrict, a powerful & flexible WordPress hosting platform. He has a degree in Computer Engineering, and started off his professional career as a member of the design team for AMD’s first 64-bit processor. Matt is passionate about understanding and helping people solve technical problems. He feels that WordPress hosts should do as much as possible to provide good performance, security, and automation, so that you can focus on your business while your host takes care of the rest. He enjoys travel and previously spent 3.5 years backpacking non-stop across South America, Oceania, and Asia.

  • Raquel Landefeld

    Raquel Landefeld is the Event Coordinator for Elegant Themes and a serial volunteer with a young soul. In 2010, she co-founded Mode Effect, a Phoenix-based WordPress agency that specializes in WooCommerce integration. Intentional about community building, she believes that wherever her feet are is where the building happens. Currently, she is active in several communities from tech ➡️ government ➡️ neighborhoods and more. On the personal side of her life, she is a mum of teens (#momhard), an active dancer, a music lover, an amateur photographer, and has a 20-year-curated Wonder Woman collection.

  • Sallie Goetsch

    Sallie Goetsch (rhymes with ‘sketch’) has been online since 1985. She hand-coded her first HTML website in 1994. She discovered WordPress in 2005 and has stuck with it through every version since. Sallie has been organizer of the East Bay WordPress Meetup in Oakland, California, since 2009. Involvement in the community inspired her to start a WordPress consulting business, WP Fangirl. Her developer superpower is also her kryptonite: patience. Sallie has taught WordPress classes for Mediabistro, acted as Technical Reviewer for O’Reilly’s WordPress: The Missing Manual, and produced training videos for Peachpit Press. She is a regular panelist on the WP-Tonic Roundtable podcast and a frequent speaker at WordCamp Sacramento. She lives in Oakley, California, with her husband and two cats.

  • Scott Stewart

    Scott Stewart was born in San Diego and magically returned 25 years later. Scott spent most of his life in Oregon but traveled around Eastern Europe in his 20s. Then lived in Massachusetts then back to San Diego. He’s lived here for 10 years and won’t live anywhere else. He rented a house that happens to be a block and a half from where he was brought home from the hospital. So what are the odds!

  • Shawn Hayes

    Shawn Hayes The Wizard of SEO, Theme Creator, Website Developer Shawn is known by many as the wizard of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). He got hooked on the magic of optimizing websites for search when he helped his first website client grow from 0 to 100,000 visitors a month, then quadrupled traffic for another client. He loves showing his clients how to create lasting traffic so they can turn visitors into paying customers and grow their revenue. He is the creator of an upcoming WordPress theme that helps empower business owners to grow their traffic on their own by easily growing their SEO traffic. Shawn also loves raising his two amazing little boys, Mason and Austin with his wife Gina.

  • Topher DeRosia

    Topher DeRosia is Senior Developer Advocate at BigCommerce, where he works to enhance the communication between BigCommerce and developers. He brings more than 25 years of experience as a web developer, over a decade of which has been spent building out WordPress sites. In addition, Topher has extensive knowledge of WooCommerce development, helped make Easy Digital Downloads and curates HeroPress.com. Fun fact: Topher is responsible for making the official International Space Station Windows95 desktop theme. He currently lives in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife Cate and two daughters, Ema and Sophia.
